The long planned closure of Willow creates the north end of the north/south pedestrian walkway nexus for the Vancouver General Hospital Master Plan.  The bookmark to Blusson Pavillion to the south, this wide boulevard like walking experience includes two gently sloping wellness walkway standard sidewalks bordered by granite pavers on either side of a lush greenway with a double row of trees.  Many seating areas are supplied along with modern furniture and other Master Plan amenities.
