Maple Bay, China

The Maple Bay project in Yinchuan China began in 2011. This community development project wished to be reminiscent of Whistler Village. The overall design concept focused on creating the landscape as an outdoor living room, which focused on pedestrian connections on desire lines. Since the area was very high activity, it was important to keep it safe and secure for the families in the community. Creating lush landscapes adjacent to housing was also an significant goal.
