Meet the Principals
Jeff Vaughan began his Landscape Architecture career in 1991, working at Don Vaughan Ltd. as a project manager until 1999. He then became an Associate at the renamed Vaughan Landscape Planning & Design. Jeff became a partner in 2006 and continues to work at Vaughan.
Some of Jeff’s most impressive projects include: the landscape design and public open space of Quest University; the reconstruction of Stanley park ‘S’ curve, which improved the safety of the causeway and upgraded the pathway systems; Gleneagles Community Center where he assisted in the design, cost estimation and construction documents; and an Eight-floor building on Beatty Street that included a sport court yard between Smithe and Beatty Street.
Mark Vaughan, who is currently a partner at Vaughan Landscape Planning & Design, started as a computer technician at Don Vaughan Ltd. in 1993. He worked from 1997 to 2007 as a Designer and an associate, until finally becoming a partner in 2007, alongside his brother Jef Vaughan. Mark is an active member, and former president and registrar of the BCSLA.
His most recent work includes the design development of the Shipyards project in North Vancouver, the master plan for a Housing Development in Ning’ An China, multiple projects at Vancouver General Hospital beginning with the master planning, and most recently, multiple projects at Park Royal Mall in West Vancouver.
